In Philadelphia, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across Pennsylvania do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 12–8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (215) 735-8090. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pietrospizza.com.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 1,802 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wow, going here was on a referral from a local and we were so impressed. The ambience, the service (Toma was just great), and the food - burrata app, the fettuccine Cielo with chicken and shrimp, and the marsala were all incredible. Would highly recommend!

We had an incredible anniversary dinner at Pietros Italian Restaurant. I ate a delicious margarita pizza and my boyfriend had a delectable rigatoni allΓ‘ vodka. we also shared the fried mozzarella which was yummy too. The food and service was very speedy and our waiter Josue was very attentive. Plenty of vegetarian options and a variety of good choices! Definitely looking forward to coming back. πŸ˜‹

The food here was excellent. The braised short rib pappardelle was the highlight of the mealβ€”the beef was incredibly tender, full of flavor, and clearly slow-braised with care. The homemade pasta paired perfectly with the rich sauce. The truffle fries were also very good. I especially appreciated the Parmesan and flaky sea salt, which elevated what could have been an ordinary side dish. Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. I understand that every server has their own style, but there are a few basic parts of the dining experience that I expect from a full-service restaurant. During my visit, it was around 3:45 PM, well outside the lunch and dinner rush, and there were only about three occupied tables in the entire restaurant. Because of that, it didn’t seem like the staff was overwhelmed. Normally, the experience would be something like this: * Welcome guests and bring the complimentary bread. * Let guests take their time with the menu instead of making them feel rushed. * Check back after the food arrives to ask if everything is okay. * Refill water or ask whether another drink is needed. Unfortunately, none of those things happened during our meal. O

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE! This place is AMAZING!!! First time here and will definitely be going back. We made a reservation about an hour before arriving and were seated immediately. We ordered the blood orange margarita, harvest mule, fried cauliflower, burrata, penne vodka, and chicken marsala. When I say everything was PHENOMENAL, I mean it!!! The fried cauliflower changed my life. It comes with an aioli sauce to die for. Everything came out so quickly and our waiter was wonderful. Not sure his name but he had arm tattoos and some facial hair. Lovely man (if you know what I mean ladies). The only thing that would have made a visit here better would have been a table outside since the weather was so nice, however they only have about 5 tables to seat people so we were happy to be inside.

The service and atmosphere was great. It can definitely get loud in here at late lunch and dinner times. Anytime I come to Philadelphia, I visit Pietro's. The food is delectable. The tomato sauce is phenomenal so I highly recommend the arancini appetizer and chicken maralsa entree.
